Food and Drink
Penelope is an accomplished cook and well known for her culinary
skills, creating memorable and original mouth-watering meals
on our AGA cooker utilising our own grown fruit and vegetables.
Our own free range eggs are freshly laid courtesy of our chickens
Martha, Peggaty, Amelia, Nancy and Paxo.
A range of starters is available including freshly squeezed
orange juice and delicious porridge that is cooked for twelve
hours, a full English breakfast using locally made produce
or smoked haddock and completed with toast, home made marmalade
and a range or beverages. The perfect start to any day.
Evening meals must be ordered 24 hours in advance
and we will make every effort to satisfy any dietry
requirements you may have.
The meal is a 3-course set menu normally served at
7.30pm in our candle-lit drinks room. Original home
made starters and desserts compliment memorable main
courses that go to make dining a major part of the
"Leathermill experience".
A well stocked wine cellar provides some original
and unusual choices of excellent quality and value
that compliment your meal.
We have a small but well stocked fully licensed bar
that provides a range of alcoholic and soft drinks.
